Kyle began graduate studies at Cornell in Fall 2015 and joined the Kirby Lab research group in December 2015. He received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Ohio State University in May 2015. As an undergraduate, he worked in the microsystems and nanosystems lab, where he programmed a LabView VI to control a microfluidic device, and automate data collection.
Kyle is currently working on developing a single stage microfluidic device to isolate rare teratoma forming cells from human induced pluripotent stem cells.
