Prateek began his graduate studies at Cornell in Fall 2014 and  joined the Micro/Nanofluidics Laboratory in November 2014. He graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in May 2014 with B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech in Thermal Science and Engineering. In his Masters thesis, Prateek worked on characterization of solid-droplet friction using molecular dynamics simulations. He won several fellowships and awards including Institute Silver Medal for his performance at IIT Kharagpur.

Current Projects

Prateek’s research interests are transport phenomena at micro/nano scale for biomedical applications. He is currently developing a microfluidic device for separation of cancer cell-derived microvesicles and exosomes.
